Senior Academic Counsellor

Role Overview

As an Academic Counsellor, you will be responsible for handling enquiries from business owners, freelancers, housewives restarting their career, and job seekers who are interested in joining our Digital Marketing course. Your role is to guide them, understand their goals, offer course clarity, and convert enquiries into successful enrollments.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming enquiries via calls, WhatsApp, emails, and social media ads
• Understand the needs and career goals of leads such as business people, freelancers, women returning to work, and job seekers
• Explain course details, curriculum, fees, training format, and career support
• Schedule and promote Free Webinars and follow up with attendees
• Maintain proper records of leads using CRM tools
• Achieve weekly and monthly enrollment targets
• Provide guidance on career paths—job opportunities, freelancing, and business growth through digital marketing
• Build trust and maintain long-term relationships with learners
• Coordinate with the academic team for smooth onboarding of enrolled students

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent communication (Tamil + English preferred)
• Strong persuasion and counselling skills
• Experience in sales, academic counselling, or customer support (EdTech experience is a plus)
• Ability to understand different learner profiles—business owners, homemakers, freshers, and freelancers
• Basic understanding of digital marketing terms (training will be provided)
• Comfortable with phone calls and follow-ups
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
