Senior Academic Coordinator( school) Bangalore

Job Summary:

Minimum 4–5 years of experience in teaching and academic coordination.

The Academic Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the school’s curriculum, monitoring academic progress, and supporting teachers in delivering effective instructional practices. This role ensures that teaching and learning processes meet academic standards, and fosters continuous improvement through training, mentoring, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Management:

• Develop, review, and update the academic curriculum in line with educational boards (CBSE, ICSE, IB, etc.).
• Ensure proper syllabus planning, lesson planning, and timely completion of portions across grades.
• Coordinate integration of academic and co-curricular programs.

Teacher Support & Supervision:

• Mentor and support teachers in instructional strategies and classroom management.
• Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
• Organize teacher training, workshops, and professional development programs.

Assessment & Evaluation:

• Develop academic calendars, exam schedules, and assessment plans.
• Oversee the preparation and moderation of question papers and mark schemes.
• Monitor student performance and analyze academic data to improve learning outcomes.

Communication & Coordination:

• Act as a bridge between the teaching staff and school management.
• Conduct regular meetings with staff to discuss academic performance and improvements.
