Security Systems Engineer - Forgerock

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Security Systems Engineer to join our motivated team. The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing Forgerock Identity and Access Management solutions to enhance our security infrastructure. This role entails direct engagement with client requirements, designing optimal security solutions, and ensuring robust IAM deployments. Responsibilities Deliver services directly on IAM ForgeRock engagementsGather requirements and develop use casesCreate, validate, and justify security solutions and designs in line with client objectives and best practicesInstall, integrate, configure, and deploy IAM solutions and systems to support various management functionalitiesTranscribe and present technical information to both technical and executive stakeholdersDevelop and execute test cases and plans for IAM solutionsRespond to escalationsPerform code reviews and assess other team members' reviewsDesign and implement ForgeRock Identity Management (OpenIDM) solutionsConfigure and manage ForgeRock Access Management (OpenAM)Maintain ForgeRock Directory Services (OpenDJ)Utilize the ForgeRock Backstage Portal for support and documentationDevelop custom scripts and connectors for integrated systemsMonitor system performances and conduct auditsCollaborate with teams to translate business requirements into technical specificationsEnsure compliance with security policies and manage system updatesProvide technical support and troubleshoot ForgeRock-related issuesDocument configurations, processes, and procedures for compliance and knowledge sharing Requirements 4+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management using ForgeRock IAM suite, including OpenIDM, OpenAM, and OpenDJAbility to troubleshoot and support requests independentlyExperience with admin/support tasks in Linux (Redhat) and Windows OS, including TomcatCapability to write basic Linux shell and Windows PowerShell scriptsBackground in working within ITSM environments using tools like ServiceNowExperience in Controlled Change Management/Deployment environmentsProficiency in scripting languages including Java, JavaScript, Groovy, or ShellUnderstanding of LDAP, SSO, OAuth, SAML, and RESTful APIsFamiliarity with directory services concepts and protocolsExcellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detailStrong communication and collaboration capabilitiesAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively Nice to have Advanced scripting capabilities with Shell or PowerShellPrevious experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM toolsProven track record of optimizing IAM deployments
