Role & responsibilities

1. System Implementation & Operations

• Implement and maintain security systems including:
• Access control platforms (biometric, RFID, mobile-based).
• Surveillance systems (CCTV, video management software, AI-based analytics).
• Alarm & intrusion detection systems.
• Visitor management and attendance systems.
• Ensure systems are up-to-date, patched, and integrated with IT infrastructure.
• Monitor performance,troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors for rectifications.
• Look for new security technologies, evaluate and recommend enhancements.
• Pilot new tools under in coordination of Senior Officer and IT leadership.
• Suggest workflow improvements for faster incident resolution and better adoption.
• Ensuring end to end requirement gathering, customization, UAT and implementation of security system.

2. Technical Support & Integration

• Act as the in-house technical expert for all security technology.
• Liaise with IT teams to ensure security systems are network-compliant and cybersecure.
• Conduct user trainings for security staff to operate technology effectively.

3. Incident Management & Reporting

• Provide real-time support for incident response (e.g., access breach, system downtime).
• Generate regular reports on access logs, system usage, and security alerts for senior review.
• Maintain documentation of system architecture, upgrades, and maintenance history.
• Maintain internal documentation like Master Documents, Audit Documents and Backups wrt. CCTV, access control, alarm systems, etc.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree , IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
• 58 years experience in implementing and managing security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm systems, etc.).
• Familiarity with networking basics, cybersecurity hygiene, and system integration.
• Hands-on troubleshooting skills and ability to manage vendors for support tickets.
• Strong technical understanding of security equipment and software.
• Practical, execution-oriented mindset with problem-solving ability.
• Good communication skills to coordinate between physical security and IT staff.
• Ability to work under pressure during incidents and ensure minimal downtime.
