Security Pricing Analyst, Process Analytics & Enhancements

SGGG Fund Services Inc. (SGGG-FSI) is currently seeking to fill a full-time position for the role of Security Pricing Analyst, Process Analytics & Enhancements. POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Working the night shift from our office at IT Park, Panchkula, Haryana and matching Canadian operating hours

• Manage the Bloomberg terminal and handle all queries and backups related to the Bloomberg terminal.

• Keep management informed of any and all issues that could have an impact on current processes.

• Work to continually improve the processes associated with your assigned functions.

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS

1. Security Pricing

· Manage all the tasks and queries that might come from the staff for the Bloomberg terminal, includes but not limited to:

o Security pricing backups

o Index Values

o Dividends & Corporate actions

· Ensure proper documentation of data saved from Bloomberg Terminal, allowing the backups to be easily accessed by the staff and used for analytical purposes.

· Review saved data on a weekly and monthly basis to identify patterns and suggest process improvement to reduce unnecessary request or proactively produce backup based on identified pattern.

· Ensure all procedures, without exception, are followed accurately and consistently, and proper back- up is provided.

· Liaise with the Fund Valuation team to obtain the necessary documents to understand and provide steps and backups.

· Liaise with Bloomberg Help desk (if needed) to resolve issues that prevent a certain backup/request to be generated.

· Could be assigned to use the other data source to provide backup (Such as Refinitiv Datascope or ICE Remote Plus)

· Any other Ad-hoc work related to the pricing and data terminals (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, ICE). May include but not limited to:

o Analyze and review pricing of securities & corporate actions.

o Proactively provide list of corporate actions to Fund Valuation team upon request.

2. NAV Preparation (May be assigned depending on workload)

• Prepare valuation packages for the assigned funds, including daily, weekly, and monthly NAVs.

• Ensure absolute accuracy with pricing, corporate actions, dividends, fund specific accruals, etc.

• Ensure all procedures, without exception, are followed accurately and consistently, and proper back-up is included within the valuation package.

· Ensure capital stock transactions are recorded accurately and reconciled with URK reports.

· Liaison with valuation team to ensure any changes to the funds after review is processed

· Properly document any backups or files relevant to the valuation

· Prepare client report for finalized funds.

3. Other:

· Provide comprehensive training to new employees, and to existing members of the team.

· Develop a professional and productive relationship with SGGG-FSI staff.

· Work to continually improve the processes associated with your assigned functions.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Work Experience

• Prior experience with Bloomberg terminal is an asset and preferred.

• Prior experience with Refinitiv Datascope or ICE Remote plus (an asset, but not required).

• Very strong in use of Microsoft Office applications.

Education

• Post-secondary education

• MBA Finance, Financial Markets Certification (an asset, but not required).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹720,000.00 per year
