Security Guard

Job Title: Security Guard Location: SS Caterers – Bilekhalli / Bannerghatta Road Shift Duration- 12 Hours Reporting To: HR Manager / Admin Head Job Purpose: To ensure the safety, security, and protection of staff, guests, company property, and assets at all catering sites, kitchens, and event venues. The Security Guard will maintain discipline at entry/exit points, monitor activities, and assist in creating a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities: Access Control & Monitoring Manage entry and exit of staff, clients, vendors, and visitors. Check ID cards and maintain a visitor logbook. Prevent unauthorized entry into restricted areas. Surveillance & Safety Monitor premises using CCTV and physical patrolling. Report suspicious activities immediately. Ensure fire safety equipment and emergency exits are not blocked. Asset Protection Safeguard company property, vehicles, and catering equipment. Check materials and goods movement (inward/outward). Conduct regular inspections of locks, doors, and windows. Event Security Duties Maintain order at event venues and control crowd movement. Assist in smooth parking management and guest safety. Support management in handling emergencies during events. Compliance & Reporting Follow company safety and security protocols. Prepare daily security reports and incident reports. Assist HR/Admin in enforcing discipline among staff. Requirements: Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Security Guard (hospitality/catering preferred). Physically fit and alert with good observation skills. Basic knowledge of fire safety and emergency response. Ability to handle conflict situations calmly and professionally. Educational Qualification: 10th Pass or above. Preference for candidates with prior military/security training. Work Conditions: Rotational shifts (Day/Night). Duty may extend to catering sites, kitchens, and outdoor events. Uniform and ID card will be provided by the company.
