Secure Meters - Oracle Application Database Administrator - E-Business Suite

What You'll Do

• Oracle EBS Administration : Perform comprehensive administration, management, and support of Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.x) environments.
• Database Management : Administer and maintain Oracle Databases (12c / 19c), ensuring their health, performance, and security.
• Patching & Upgrades : Apply database and application patches, hotfixes, and conduct version upgrades for Oracle EBS and databases.
• Cloning & Refresh : Execute cloning and refresh operations for Oracle EBS environments for various development, testing, and training purposes.
• Backup & Recovery : Implement and manage robust backup and recovery strategies, including using RMAN, to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Performance Tuning : Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and perform performance tuning for both Oracle EBS applications and Oracle Databases.
• Utilities & Tools : Utilize AD utilities, AutoConfig, and other Oracle EBS-specific tools for system management and configuration.
• Middleware Management : Administer and troubleshoot components like WebLogic Server and Concurrent Manager.
• Operating System & Scripting : Work effectively in Linux/Unix environments and develop/maintain Shell scripts for automation and routine tasks.
• Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to Oracle EBS, databases, and associated middleware We're Looking For :
• Experience : 3-5 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Apps DBA.
• Oracle EBS Expertise : Strong experience in managing and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.1 / R12.2).
• Oracle Database Proficiency : Solid experience with Oracle Database 12c / 19c administration.
• Core DBA Skills : Proven expertise in :
• Patching and cloning of Oracle EBS and databases.
• Backup and recovery procedures, including RMAN.
• Performance tuning of Oracle applications and databases.
• Technical Tools : Hands-on experience with :
• AD utilities and AutoConfig.
• WebLogic Server administration.
• Concurrent Manager operations.
• Operating Systems & Scripting : Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems and Shell scripting.
• Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
