Position Title: Secondary Economics Teacher

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Secondary Economics Teacher to teach Economics at the secondary level. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and a commitment to fostering student learning and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective Economics lessons for secondary school students
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments in line with curriculum requirements
• Evaluate and monitor students’ progress and provide constructive feedback
• Prepare students for internal and board examinations
• Incorporate innovative teaching methodologies to enhance learning outcomes
• Maintain discipline, order, and a positive learning environment in the classroom
• Collaborate with other faculty members for co-curricular and inter-disciplinary activities
• Participate in parent–teacher meetings, workshops, and school events as required

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate / Postgraduate in Economics with B.Ed. specialization in Economics or related subject
• Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience at the secondary level
• Strong command over subject knowledge and communication skills
• Proficiency in lesson planning, assessment design, and use of teaching aids
• Ability to motivate and mentor students

Preferred / Desirable

• Prior experience teaching in an ICSE / ISC curriculum environment will be an added advantage
• Familiarity with modern pedagogical techniques and classroom technology

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹42,000.00 per month
