Secondary Economics Teacher

You will be responsible for teaching Economics at the secondary level with a focus on fostering student learning and growth. Your key responsibilities will include: - Planning and delivering engaging Economics lessons for secondary school students - Preparing lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments according to curriculum requirements - Evaluating student progress and providing constructive feedback - Preparing students for internal and board examinations - Incorporating innovative teaching methodologies for enhanced learning outcomes - Maintaining discipline, order, and a positive learning environment in the classroom - Collaborating with other faculty members for co-curricular and inter-disciplinary activities - Participating in parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and school events as necessary To be considered for this role, you should have: - A Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Economics with B.Ed. specialization in Economics or a related subject - At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at the secondary level - Strong command over subject knowledge and communication skills - Proficiency in lesson planning, assessment design, and use of teaching aids - Ability to motivate and mentor students Preferred qualifications include prior experience teaching in an ICSE/ISC curriculum environment and familiarity with modern pedagogical techniques and classroom technology. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Maharashtra. The education requirement is a Bachelor's degree, and candidates with a B.Ed. in Economics are preferred. A minimum of 1 year of experience in teaching Secondary Economics is preferred, along with a B.Ed. in Economics certification.,
