Scrum Master

Job Summary:

Novintix seeking an experienced and dynamic Scrum Master to join our agile team. This role involves overseeing the development process and ensuring that the product aligns with customer needs and business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Scrum Master Responsibilities:

Facilitation:

Looking 5+ years of experience in Scrum

Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Help the team to remove impediments and obstacles that hinder progress.

Team Support:

Act as a servant leader to the development team.

Encourage collaboration and communication within the team.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Process Management:

Ensure that the Scrum process is followed.

Track and manage project progress using Agile tools and techniques.

Measure and report on the effectiveness of the Scrum process.

Stakeholder Management:

Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring they are aware of the team’s progress and any issues.

Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate discussions between stakeholders and the development team.

Product Owner Responsibilities:

Product Vision & Roadmap:

Define and communicate the product vision and strategy.

Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with business goals.

Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, customer needs, and team capacity.

Requirements Gathering:

Gather and document customer requirements and user stories.

Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable tasks.

Ensure that user stories are well-defined and ready for development.

Backlog Management:

Create, refine, and prioritize the product backlog.

Ensure the backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all stakeholders and the development team.

Make sure the development team understands items in the backlog to the level needed.
