Scrum Master

The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2600+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation, and commissioning. Over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest operations hub supporting Hitachi Energy's units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all four business units. The team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries. As part of the team at the India Operations Centre in Chennai, Bangalore, or Gurugram, your mission is to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of operations to facilitate business activities and to develop and sustain an effective control environment to strengthen corporate governance. Your roles and responsibilities include facilitating daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospectives, ensuring the team follows Agile principles and practices, removing impediments and blockers to the team's progress, supporting the Product Owner in managing the product backlog, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment, tracking and reporting on team progress and performance metrics, coaching and mentoring team members on Agile methodologies, promoting continuous improvement within the team, educating and coaching the team in Scrum, coaching the team in self-management, creating an environment for continuous improvement on the team level, and supporting the overall SAFe implementation. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, electrical, or mechanical engineering with at least 8 years of experience. You should be well-versed in SAFe Agile and Scrum methodologies, hold a Certified Scrum Master (SSM, CSM, PSM) or similar Agile certification, have proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role, experience with Agile project management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Trello, etc., knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), experience in coaching and mentoring teams, a high degree of intercultural awareness, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.,
