Scrum Master

As an Assistant Vice President (AVP) Scrum Master at Citi, your role is crucial in facilitating the Agile methodology within the organization, with a specific focus on Scrum practices. Your responsibilities will include: - Acting as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement. - Facilitating all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospectives) and ensuring adherence to Agile principles and practices. - Coaching and mentoring team members on Agile frameworks and methodologies to promote self-organization and accountability. - Removing impediments or guiding the team to resolve issues by finding the right personnel or resources. - Collaborating with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize backlog items and manage dependencies. - Monitoring and tracking team progress and performance metrics, providing regular updates and reports to management and stakeholders. - Fostering a positive team environment that encourages innovation and creativity while delivering high-quality products and services. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a large-scale enterprise environment, preferably within the financial services industry. - Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification required. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). - Proven track record of successfully implementing Agile methodologies and driving Agile transformation. - Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. - Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
