Job Description

Key purpose of the role: Plan the sprints to help the team define and commit to the work to be done Organise and lead daily stand-up meetings to ensure all team members are aligned and obstacles are identified early Proactively remove any obstacles and resolve interdependencies that are hindering the progress of the team Monitor sprint progress to ensure timely release of product functionality, Maintain the product backlog, sprint backlog and increment so that progress and priorities are transparently visible to all stakeholders Coordinate with internal stakeholders, to adjust priorities as needed to meet business objectives Collaborate with product owners to manage sprint goals, requirements and communicate Conduct sprint retrospectives to reflect on what went well, what didn't, and how the team can improve The ideal candidate profile You have between 5 to7 years of experience in a Scrum Master role Or, you have 7 to 10 years of experience in a Software Project Management role of which you were a Scrum Master for atleast 3 years You conversant with Jira and Azure DevOps, and at ease planning sprints, managing backlogs, and configuring boards You can coordinate, follow up, follow through and drive issues to closure proactively You have demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, and delivered within scope, timelines and budgets You can work with cross functional and remote development teams You take ownership and accountability and don't need a manager reminding of tasks or deadlines You are proficient in the Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) applied to software development lifecycle (SDLC) You have a certification in Scrum (CSM, PSM), additional certifications like Azure DevOps will give you an advantage over other applicants Having led SaaS product development projects will also give you an advantage over other applicants
