Scm Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirement Gathering:

• Work with stakeholders to understand business processes (procurement, inventory, manufacturing, order management, logistics).
• Translate business needs into system configurations and workflows.

2. System Implementation & Configuration:

• Configure SCM modules such as:

• Procure-to-Pay (P2P)

• Order-to-Cash (O2C)

• Inventory Management

• Warehouse Management

• Logistics/Transportation

• Demand & Supply Planning

• Customize workflows and reports as per client requirements.

3. Testing & Validation:

• Develop test cases for unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Work with QA teams to ensure system reliability and performance.

4. Training & Documentation:

• Train end users on SCM applications.
• Create user manuals, SOPs, and process documentation.

5. Post-Go-Live Support:

• Provide hyper care support after implementation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user issues.

6. Continuous Improvement:

• Suggest optimizations for supply chain processes.
• Keep up to date with new software features and industry trends.

Skills Required:

• Functional Knowledge

  : In-depth understanding of supply chain operations.

• ERP Systems Expertise

  : Experience in Oracle SCM, SAP S/4HANA, Dynamics 365, or others.

• Analytical Thinking

  : Ability to analyse complex processes and design efficient solutions.

• Communication

  : Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

• Documentation & Training

  : Clear technical writing and instructional abilities.
