Job Responsibilities: Leadership and Management: Provide strong, effective leadership to the school, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning. Oversee the daily operations of the school, including administrative and academic functions. Lead, motivate, and manage the teaching and non-teaching staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements, including those set by the CBSE Board and state authorities. Develop and implement school policies and procedures in line with best practices and educational standards. Academic Excellence: Ensure the delivery of a high-quality curriculum that meets the needs of all students. Monitor and evaluate the performance and progress of students, implementing strategies for improvement where necessary. Oversee the planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons, ensuring alignment with the CBSE and state curriculums. Encourage innovative teaching methods and the use of technology to promote a culture of excellence in teaching and learning, supporting teachers in their professional development and to enhance learning outcomes. Student Development: Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students. Implement programs and initiatives that support the holistic development of students, including extracurricular activities. Address and manage student behavior and discipline issues in accordance with school policies. Promote the well-being and welfare of students, ensuring they have access to appropriate support services. Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, guardians, and the wider community. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on school performance and developments. Organize and participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and community activities. Liaise with the Board of Management, staff, and other relevant professionals to support the school's mission and goals. Qualifications and Requirements: A Master's degree in Education or a related field. Full and continuous registration with the Teaching Council. Proven track record of academic and organizational leadership. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with educational trends and best practices. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders. Proficiency in the use of educational technology and software. Conditions of Employment: Compliance with vetting requirements as determined by the Board of Management. Provision of original documentation evidencing completion of qualifications and post-qualification professional practice. Adherence to the school's policies, the Rules for National Schools, and the Department of Education regulations. Maintenance of a safe and confidential environment, with no disclosure of confidential information.
