School Counsellor

As a School Counsellor at our institution, you will play a crucial role in supporting the emotional, psychological, and social well-being of our students. Key Responsibilities: - Provide individual and group counselling sessions to students as needed. - Identify emotional, behavioural, or academic concerns and collaborate with teachers and parents for effective solutions. - Conduct regular mental health awareness and life skills sessions. - Develop age-appropriate counselling programs to enhance emotional resilience and self-awareness. - Maintain confidentiality and document student interactions and progress accurately. - Collaborate with school leadership, teachers, and parents to foster a positive and inclusive school environment. - Offer guidance during crisis intervention and sensitive situations. - Participate actively in parent-teacher meetings and provide professional insights when necessary. Qualifications & Experience: - Minimum Qualification: M.A. in Psychology or Clinical Psychology. - Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in school or child counselling. - Exceptional freshers with strong academic and interpersonal skills will also be considered. Skills & Attributes: - Excellent listening and communication skills. - Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for student well-being. - Strong ethical standards and discretion. - Ability to build trust and rapport with students and parents. - Organizational and documentation skills.
