SCCM/Intune Admin

Role & responsibilities

• SCCM Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and maintain SCCM infrastructure, including primary and secondary site servers, distribution points, and management points.
• Software Deployment: Create and manage software deployment packages, applications, and task sequences for operating system deployment.
• Patch Management: Implement and manage patch management processes to ensure all systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches and updates.
• System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor SCCM infrastructure and client health, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SCCM components and client installations.
• Reporting and Documentation: Generate and maintain reports on software deployments, patch compliance, and system health. Document processes, configurations, and procedures.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure SCCM environment adheres to security policies and compliance requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, including network, security, and desktop support, to ensure seamless integration and operation of SCCM.
• Proficiency in SCCM installation, configuration, and management.
• Experience with software deployment, patch management, and operating system deployment.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell.
• Understanding of network protocols and firewall configurations.
• Experience with other endpoint management tools such as Intune, JAMF, or similar.
• Knowledge of cloud-based management solutions and hybrid environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.

SCCM Key Responsibilities:

• Intune Management: Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Intune for mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM).
• Device Enrollment and Configuration: Manage device enrollment processes, configure device compliance policies, and ensure devices meet security standards.
• Application Deployment: Create and manage application deployment packages, including line-of-business (LOB) apps and store apps, ensuring seamless distribution to managed devices.
• Security and Compliance: Implement and manage security policies, including conditional access, encryption, and compliance policies to protect organizational data.
• System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor Intune environment and device health, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Intune configurations and device compliance.
• Reporting and Documentation: Generate and maintain reports on device compliance, application deployment, and security status. Document processes, configurations, and procedures.
• Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, including network, security, and desktop support, to ensure seamless integration and operation of Intune.
• User Support: Provide exceptional support to end-users regarding Intune-related issues, ensuring high levels of user satisfaction.
