As a Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager / Manager in the FAAS Financial Services team at EY, you will play a crucial role in contributing to Finance Transformation and Accounting Advisory engagements. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with team members, providing coaching and support to junior and senior team members, maintaining communication within the team, preparing for client meetings, participating in these meetings, and assisting in preparing reports and schedules for clients and other parties. Additionally, you will support clients with broader finance-related matters such as finance transformations, accounting advisory, and financial and regulatory reporting improvement. Qualifications required for this role include: - A master's degree in accounting, Economics, (quantitative) Finance, business administration or a comparable field - Relevant working experience in the financial services sector and/or with a large consulting firm, gained in the finance (CFO) domain - An innovative mindset with an interest in designing and implementing advanced Finance domain practices using AI and other technology - Strong understanding and significant experience working with IFRS, particularly within the banking sector, and familiarity with a broad range of finance processes - Knowledge of the business model of banks and/or insurance companies, including their risk and regulatory complexities - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with your team and clients - Experience in supervising and coaching junior team members for their professional and personal development - Flexibility to travel across the MENA region - Proficiency in speaking and writing Arabic is preferable At EY, you will have the opportunity to develop future-focused skills, gain world-class experiences, and work in a flexible environment.
