Role Overview

full-time role

• Deliver

  high-quality SAT Math tutoring

  to students preparing for the SAT.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve our product, student experience, and curriculum.
• Be a core part of

  building and running the product journey

  at Mentor Match.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Student Success

• Deliver engaging

  one-on-one and group sessions

  for SAT Math.
• Help students develop test-taking strategies, speed, and accuracy.
• Design practice materials, mock tests, and targeted improvement plans.
• Track student performance and share actionable feedback.

Product Development & Innovation

• Collaborate with the

  Founder & Product Team

  to enhance curriculum design, digital content, and learning journeys.
• Share insights from tutoring to help improve platform features and student engagement.
• Co-create scalable SAT prep content (practice banks, video lessons, test strategies).

Cross-Team Collaboration

• Work with the

  Sales Team

  to understand student/parent needs and refine offerings.
• Support marketing through demo classes, webinars, or academic content.
• Assist in training and onboarding new tutors to maintain high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Strong academic background in

  Mathematics

  .

• 3+ years of SAT Math tutoring/teaching experience

  (online or offline).
• Strong command of SAT exam structure, question patterns, and scoring strategies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage high-school students.
• Comfortable in a

  fast-paced startup environment

  with cross-functional collaboration.
• Tech-savvy and adaptable to online teaching tools.

Nice to Have

• Experience in creating

  SAT prep materials/content

  .
• Exposure to other standardized tests (ACT, GRE, GMAT).
• Passion for EdTech, curriculum design, or product building.
