SAP S/4HANA ABAP HR Technical Lead

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP ABAP HR technical consulting
• Strong hands-on experience in

  S/4HANA implementations

  (minimum 2–3 full-cycle projects)
• Proven expertise in

  HR, Payroll, and Time Management technical objects

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support ABAP HR solutions in SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Work closely with SAP HCM functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Development and enhancement of

  custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms (HR-Forms/Adobe), and workflows

  in the HR module.
• Expertise in

  HR-ABAP specific infotypes, cluster tables, payroll schema, time evaluation, and benefits

  .
• Expertise in Integration with Successfactors.
• Strong knowledge in

  PA, OM, Payroll, Time Management

  technical objects.
• Involvement in

  data migration

  , ALE/IDoc interfaces, and 3rd party system integrations for HR & Payroll.
• Perform performance optimization of ABAP HR programs, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Basis, Security, and Functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Support

  testing (unit, integration, UAT)

  and cutover/go-live activities.
• Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to junior technical consultants.

Key Skills

• SAP ABAP HR Programming (Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
• Deep understanding of

  HR Infotypes, Payroll Schema, and Time Schema

  .
• Experience with

  S/4HANA Data Models

  , CDS Views, and AMDPs.
• Hands-on with

  HR-Forms, SmartForms, Adobe Forms

  .
• Proficient in

  ALE, IDoc, and Web Services

  integration for HR.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance tuning skills.
