SAP S4 Outbound - Aftersales Logistics Process Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Outbound Functional Consultant to join our Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India, After Sales Logistics team. You will be responsible for the functional design, configuration, and implementation of outbound logistics and distribution processes in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring alignment with business requirements and optimizing supply chain operations to enhance after-sales service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the functional design and configuration of SAP S/4HANA outbound logistics and distribution modules supporting after-sales operations.
• Collaborate closely with after-sales business stakeholders, global and local supply chain teams to gather detailed requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
• Configure and optimize outbound processes including delivery creation, picking, packing, shipping, and transportation management within SAP SD module.
• Ensure seamless integration with related SAP modules such as Warehouse Management (WM), Transportation Management (TM), and Materials Management (MM).
• Participate actively in all phases of the SAP Activate methodology: Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Run.
• Prepare detailed functional specifications for custom enhancements and collaborate with technical teams for development.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure process accuracy and system readiness.
• Provide end-user training, create documentation, and deliver post-go-live support to ensure smooth adoption of the SAP solution.
• Analyze and troubleshoot functional issues related to outbound logistics processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline and optimize outbound logistics workflows.
