Program Mercury is a significant enterprise-wide process transformation initiative at EY, aiming to replace over 1400 business systems with an integrated SAP platform. This initiative will standardize and harmonize activities across the organization, enhancing business management practices. As a key enabler of EY's Vision 2020, Program Mercury supports various transformation initiatives by streamlining the application portfolio, reducing costs, and enabling more efficient service delivery. The Mercury Support Team (MST) is a global, centralized organization jointly owned by business and IT, responsible for providing operational support for the Mercury solution and managing the user community. The MST plays a crucial role in governing the Mercury solution and global template, working closely with business and IT to realize the benefits of Program Mercury and shape the technology roadmap for Vision 2020. Key Responsibilities: - Manage multiple functional or technical enhancement projects on behalf of MST Application Development and Enhancement Services - Collaborate with Business and IT teams, stakeholders, and offshore delivery teams to deliver projects and enhancements - Ensure projects are planned, executed, and delivered within agreed schedule, budget, and scope - Follow application development lifecycle and project management processes - Monitor and control project progress, risks, issues, and performance metrics - Manage RICEFW/Business Requirements List and coordinate with development teams for successful delivery - Align with overall business and technology strategies and architectures - Publish progress reports and manage external contracts and suppliers if necessary - Develop project objectives, phasing, and content to deliver business benefits within budget and timelines - Manage risks, issues, and change management effectively Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 8-10 years of IT Project Management experience - 2-4 years of experience in a Project Manager or Development Manager role on SAP Engagement - Strong SAP delivery experience with at least one end-to-end implementation - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills - Experience working in multi-location teams and client-facing roles - Ability to manage and work across multiple projects and developments - Knowledge of SAP solution development processes and integration capabilities - Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills Supervision Responsibilities: Regularly align with process manager and SMEs to maintain purpose and direction due to geographical dispersion Ability to make sound decisions without constant supervision Education and Certification: - Bachelor's degree in a related technology field or equivalent experience - Desired Project Management Practitioner (PMP or Prince 2 certification) or equivalent experience Other Requirements: - Flexibility and ability to work across global time zones EY | Building a better working world: EY aims to create a better working world by delivering long-term value for clients, people, and society while building trust in the capital markets.
