Job Description

As an experienced SAP Production Planning (PP) Consultant, your role will involve managing and optimizing the SAP PP module to ensure seamless manufacturing and production processes. You will be responsible for configuring and customizing the system according to business requirements. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and involvement in end-to-end SAP project lifecycles are key aspects of this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP PP solutions. - Configure SAP PP module components including BOM, Work Centers, Routing, MRP, Planning Strategies, and Production Orders. - Handle integration with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and QM. - Prepare functional specifications and work closely with the ABAP team for developments. - Support end-to-end SAP PP implementation, including blueprinting, testing, go-live, and post-go-live support. - Provide ongoing production support and troubleshooting for SAP PP-related issues. - Create and maintain system documentation, functional specs, and user manuals. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and reliable SAP PP processes. - Conduct training for key users and end-users as needed. - Should have technical awareness about Development activities like FS preparation, debugging knowledge, User Exits, Enhancements, LSMW, BDC applications, BAPIs, BADI development, and background job. **Qualification Required:** - In-depth knowledge of production planning, demand management, capacity planning, and MRP. - Experience in handling Master Data: BOM, Routing, Work Centers. - Familiarity with production order processing, shop floor control, and batch management. - Strong understanding of PP-MRP concepts and integration with MM and SD. - SAP Certification in PP module is a plus. - Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude. - Exposure to SAP S/4HANA PP Fiori applications would be beneficial. As an SAP PP Consultant, your problem-solving skills, ability to collaborate across teams, excellent communication, and attention to detail will be highly valued. Prior experience working with multicultural clients and teams across different time zones is advantageous.,
