Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced SAP Payment Engine Consultant with a strong background in functional configuration, payment processing systems , and custom development . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with VISA payments , backend integration (Backs), and a deep understanding of end-to-end payment lifecycles within financial institutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support the functional configuration of SAP Payment Engine (PE) to meet business requirements. Customize and enhance SAP PE for payment processing across various channels including VISA payments . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP PE with core banking systems and backend platforms . Translate functional requirements into technical specifications for development. Participate in design, development, testing, and deployment of custom enhancements in SAP PE. Analyze payment flows, identify gaps, and propose scalable solutions. Ensure compliance with payment industry standards and regulations. Required Qualifications: 8+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Payment Engine , including configuration and customization. Strong functional knowledge of payment processing systems , especially with card networks like VISA . Experience in backend integration (Backs) and interfacing SAP PE with other financial systems. Proven development experience in ABAP , and working knowledge of SAP enhancement techniques. Ability to analyze complex payment workflows and deliver business-focused solutions. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Preferred Skills: Background in banking, financial services, or fintech. Familiarity with payment clearing and settlement systems.
