SAP MM Consultant

Our client, an award-winning strategy & technology consulting firm operating in Southeast Asia, is currently looking for a skilled SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant to take charge of designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP MM solutions within intricate enterprise settings. As the ideal candidate, you should possess profound functional expertise, a solid grasp of business processes, and hands-on configuration capabilities. Your primary focus will revolve around procurement, inventory management, and material planning in industries characterized by complex supply chain operations. This is a PERMANENT position specifically open to candidates residing in Southeast Asia or neighboring countries. Successful candidates will be required to RELOCATE to Brunei for a minimum period of 6 months upon commencement of the role. Subsequently, a partial remote work arrangement may be feasible. In this role, your responsibilities will include leading end-to-end SAP MM implementations, rollouts, and support tasks across various projects. You will also be responsible for analyzing business requirements, translating them into detailed functional specifications and SAP MM configurations, configuring key components of SAP MM, and designing integrations with related SAP modules such as PM, QM, SD, FI, WM, and PP. Furthermore, you will conduct fit-gap analyses, collaborate with stakeholders, prepare functional documentation, conduct user training and UAT sessions, provide support, troubleshoot issues, and lead continuous improvement initiatives in the MM domain. To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 10 - 15 years of hands-on SAP MM consulting experience in full-cycle implementations, rollouts, and support projects. Strong configuration and design experience in SAP MM core areas, familiarity with SAP integration points, and working experience on S/4HANA projects are highly desirable. Additionally, you should possess a strong understanding of procurement and supply chain business processes, excellent problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities, and effective communication skills. A Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field is required, and SAP MM certification would be considered a plus.
