SAP MM CONSULTANT

Key Responsibilities

• Implementation and Configuration

  :
  • Configure and implement SAP MM modules in alignment with business requirements.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and map them to SAP functionalities.
  • Perform system configuration, testing, and documentation for the SAP MM module.

• System Support & Troubleshooting

  :
  • Provide ongoing support for SAP MM, troubleshooting and resolving issues in the production environment.
  • Collaborate with SAP Functional and Technical teams for issue resolution and continuous improvement.

• User Training and Documentation

  :
  • Develop user training materials and conduct training sessions for end users.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including process flows and configurations.

• Integration

  :
  • Coordinate with other SAP functional modules like SD, WM, and PP to ensure smooth integration and data flow.
  • Participate in system integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Project Management

  :
  • Participate in SAP MM-related projects, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within scope.
  • Work with project managers and stakeholders to track progress, manage resources, and meet deadlines.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience

  :
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MM configuration and implementation.
  • Experience with end-to-end SAP MM module implementations (both in full lifecycle projects and support environments).

• Technical Skills

  :
  • Expertise in SAP MM functional areas such as Material Master, Vendor Master, Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Invoice Verification.
  • Understanding of integration points between SAP MM and other SAP modules (SD, WM, PP, FICO).

• Knowledge

  :
  • Strong understanding of business processes in procurement, inventory, and materials management.
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps and SAP S/4HANA is a plus.

• Communication Skills

  :
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

• Certifications

  :
  • SAP MM certification (preferred but not required)
