SAP L1 Support Engineer

We are seeking an experienced SAP L1 Support Engineer with a strong background in resolving high-volume user issues and providing exceptional frontline support. The ideal candidate should be adept at troubleshooting SAP-related incidents, maintaining structured documentation, and ensuring smooth communication between end-users and higher-level support teams.

Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India

Experience: 1–3 years in SAP L1 Support

Key Responsibilities:

• Incident Resolution:

  Perform first-level diagnosis and resolution for SAP system issues related to user access, roles, master data, and transactional errors.

• Ticket Management:

  Efficiently log, categorize, and prioritize tickets, ensuring SLA adherence and quality service delivery.

• User Support:

  Provide expert guidance to end-users on SAP processes, standard transactions, and error prevention.

• Escalation Handling:

  Escalate unresolved or complex issues to L2/L3 teams with detailed analysis and supporting information.

• Knowledge Management:

  Update and maintain a knowledge base of recurring issues and standard resolutions.

• Collaboration & Communication:

  Act as the primary liaison between business users, IT teams, and SAP functional/technical consultants.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience in SAP support environments (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, HR, or SuccessFactors).
• Proficiency with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or SAP Solution Manager.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to follow defined support processes and work effectively within a team.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• SAP certification or domain-specific SAP training preferred.
• Prior experience working in ITIL-based environments is a plus.
