Role Overview: As an SAP FPSL - AVP at DWS in Pune, India, you will be part of the Project Lighthouse team working towards transforming DWS into an Asset Management standalone operating platform. Your role will involve designing, developing, and delivering engineering solutions to enhance DWS's Corporate Functions globally. You will actively participate in solution design, re-use investigations, and ensuring solutions are reliable, maintainable, and integrable into the overall environment. Key Responsibilities: - Act as an individual contributor as an SAP FPSL consultant, collaborating closely with the business to understand requirements and implement SAP solutions. - Assist in the implementation of FPSL solutions, focusing on Configuration, Master data framework, Sub-ledger accounting, SDL, RDL, CVPM, and integration to GL module. - Understand end-to-end integration of FPSL flows from source systems to S/4 GL module, provide functional support, and troubleshoot issues when necessary. - Have a basic overview of key SAP Finance processes and their integration with the FPSL module. - Coordinate effectively with various stakeholders, functional/technical team members, external IT counterparts, and architects. - Complete and elaborate on functional design in alignment with the solution designed by the solution architect, and document the same. - Support testing activities, including test plans, test cases, test data, and interface testing review between different applications. - Collaborate with application developers to resolve functional issues identified during UATs and find solutions for functional difficulty areas. - Work closely with business analysts to detail proposed solutions and maintain solutions. - Collaborate with the Application Management area for functional troubleshooting and resolution of reported bugs/issues on applications. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 10+ years of SAP experience, including at least 3 years of recent SAP FPSL project implementation experience. - Hands-on experience in implementing accounting processes/data models related to Contract, Securities, Accruals, Fair Values, Business transactions, etc., within the FPSL module. - Proficiency in FPSL processes like Sub-ledger accounting, ETL, Data loading and processing, Job scheduling, Error handling, etc. - Experience and knowledge of key integration points with the FICO module. - Strong analytical capabilities and effective communication skills. - Ability to multitask, work under tight deadlines, and maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. - Fluent in English (written/verbal).
