Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP FI Consultant to support our United States operations , ensuring the stability and continuity of financial processes in SAP ECC. This position is critical to the business , as the US currently does not have a dedicated IT Finance specialist. Therefore, the selected professional is expected to work closely with local finance teams in the US , as well as with shared services teams based in Brazil and Mexico . Responsibilities: Provide SAP FI support for US operations, focusing on incident resolution and complex problem-solving. Investigate root causes of issues and propose sustainable solutions and small improvements. Collaborate closely with technical and functional teams responsible for SAP ECC integrations. Lead crisis meetings, ensuring clear, objective, and continuous communication with all stakeholders. Create and maintain technical and functional documentation, including knowledge articles and new processes. Research historical materials and propose improvements based on lessons learned. Ensure all communications (emails, meetings, reports) are conducted in English with a high level of clarity and professionalism. Be available to work in time slots aligned with Central Time (US) , especially during critical meetings or support windows. Collaborate directly with finance teams in the US and shared services centers in Brazil and Mexico. Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to learn and collaborate with other SAP modules such as CO, PS, or others relevant to the operation. Requirements: Proven experience in SAP FI support, preferably in global environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with SAP ECC. Proactivity, sense of urgency, and ownership. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Solid knowledge of financial processes, especially Accounts Payable (AP) and General Ledger (GL) . Familiarity with the US banking system and its specificities is a plus. Willingness to expand knowledge into other SAP modules beyond FI, as required by the business. Nice to Have: Knowledge of SAP CO (Controlling) and PS (Project System) modules. Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
