Sap Finance Control Consultant

As an experienced SAP FICO Consultant in the EPC industry, your role involves understanding business requirements and translating them into effective SAP solutions. Your responsibilities will include configuring and supporting SAP FI and CO modules, supporting project-based financial processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring system accuracy, and participating in various projects within the EPC/Hydrocarbon environment. Key Responsibilities: - Understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions. - Configure and support SAP FI modules including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Bank Accounting & Treasury, Taxation, and Asset Accounting. - Configure and support SAP CO modules including Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profitability Analysis, and Project cost planning. - Support project-based financial processes such as WBS accounting, budgeting, settlement, project cash flow tracking, cost forecasting, and subcontractor billing. - Collaborate with SAP PS, MM, SD, PM, and HR teams for cross-functional process integration. - Provide daily functional support, troubleshoot system issues, and coordinate with development teams for enhancements. - Ensure accuracy in month-end and year-end closing activities. - Create and maintain functional documentation, test cases, training materials, and SOPs. - Participate in rollouts, migrations, and S/4HANA upgrade projects. Required Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field. - 4-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO, preferably in EPC, Oil & Gas, or Hydrocarbon engineering industries. - Strong understanding of project accounting, cost control, budgeting, and contract-related finance processes. - Experience in configuring and supporting SAP FI and CO modules. - Good knowledge of taxation, asset accounting, and statutory financial compliance. - Experience working with cross-functional SAP modules (PS, MM, SD). - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills: - Experience in S/4HANA Finance. - Exposure to EPC project lifecycles, subcontracting, procurement, and billing. - Familiarity with Fiori apps and SAP Activate methodology. - Ability to work with large project datasets and complex WBS structures.,
