SAP FICO Consultant - Implementation & Support

Description

• Participate in full lifecycle SAP FICO implementations from requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, data migration, to post go-live support.
• Analyze business requirements and map them to SAP standard functionalities within the FI and CO modules.
• Configure submodules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Product Costing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, PP, and HR) for integration touchpoints and to resolve issues impacting financial flows.
• Prepare detailed functional specifications for custom developments, enhancements, and reports.
• Provide support for FICO modules, resolving user incidents, service requests, and change requests in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot integration issues between SAP FICO and other SAP modules or external systems.
• Monitor daily batch jobs, interface data flows, and financial postings to ensure data accuracy and system stability.
• Work closely with business users to identify recurring issues and propose process improvements or system optimizations.
• Perform period-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy of financial reporting.
• Maintain and manage master data related to financial and controlling areas.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP FICO configuration in both ECC and S/4HANA environments.
• Expertise in GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, CO-PA (Profitability Analysis), Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Product Costing.
• Deep understanding of integration points between FICO and other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP).
• Working knowledge of Fiori Apps and SAP S/4HANA Finance innovations.
• Proficient in document splitting, parallel ledgers, and new asset accounting.
• Knowledge of taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance within the Indian financial landscape.
• Strong experience in bank integrations, payment configurations, and electronic bank statement (EBS) setups.
