We are hiring an experienced SAP ECS Database Administrator (HANA) to manage and optimize SAP HANA environments in enterprise cloud platforms. The role requires deep expertise in SAP HANA administration, replication, performance tuning, and automation, with hands-on experience supporting business-critical SAP S/4HANA and BW/4HANA landscapes. The ideal candidate will be adept at integrating SAP solutions across hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, GCP) and ensuring system reliability, scalability, and high availability.

Responsibilities:

Administer and manage SAP HANA databases including upgrades, patching, and monitoring.

Ensure high availability, system replication, and business continuity (HADR).

Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning of HANA systems.

Support migrations, upgrades, architecture design, and proof-of-concept activities.

Drive automation using Python/Shell/Perl scripting and AI/ML capabilities.

Collaborate with global teams on SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, Basis, and NetWeaver projects.

Integrate SAP HANA with SAP Data Intelligence, Cloud Platform Integration, and EIM tools.

Handle critical escalations, resolve incidents, and ensure timely delivery.

Establish best practices, governance, and standards for cloud services.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

10+ years of experience in SAP HANA administration, optimization, and troubleshooting.

Expertise in HANA scale-up/scale-out, NSE, extension nodes, dynamic tiering.

Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, Basis, and NetWeaver.

Knowledge of Azure, AWS, and GCP for SAP workloads.

Proficiency in SAP HANA SQL Script and scripting languages (Python/Shell/Perl).

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lead projects independently and deliver successful outcomes.
