Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Configure and customize SAP CO modules: Cost Element, Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, Activity-Based Costing, COPA, and CATS.
Analyze and map business requirements, processes, and objectives for controlling.
Work with business users to design enhancements and functionalities.
Prepare Business Process Procedures, test scenarios, and end-user documentation.
Perform requirement analysis and resolve queries from business stakeholders.
Carry out customization changes following SAP best practices.
Define functional specifications for new developments and maintain change documentation.
Execute test cases and validate configurations in development and quality environments.
Provide 2nd and 3rd level SAP CO support, including training and authorization management.
Collaborate with Controlling team to roll out global standards for management reporting.
Conduct UAT and regression testing, including script writing.
Investigate and resolve day-to-day issues in SAP CO processes.
Ensure seamless integration between CO and other modules (FI, PS, SD, CATS).
Support full life cycle SAP CO implementations in ECC 6.0 and/or S/4HANA.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience:
6-12 years in SAP CO consulting with at least 3 end-to-end implementations (preferably in service industry).
Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge of CO sub-modules and integration with FI, PS, SD, and CATS.
SAP Experience:
Hands-on experience in Event-Based Revenue Recognition and CO data migration.
Certifications:
SAP Certified Application Associate SAP S/4HANA for Management Accounting (CO) preferred.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical ability, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.
Domain Knowledge:
Finance and controlling processes, accounting, costing, and best practices.
