SAP Basis Consultant

We are looking for SAP Basis Consultant for our organization.

Work location: Puducherry, India

Key Responsibilities:

Perform SAP BASIS administration tasks for S/4HANA On-Premise systems.

Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems including S/4HANA, Solution Manager (SolMan), and Fiori.

Carry out SAP Fiori Front-End Server (FES) activation and configuration.

Monitor system performance, perform health checks, and tune SAP landscapes.

Handle user administration, roles, and authorizations in SAP.

Manage client copies, system refreshes, and transport management.

Perform kernel upgrades, patch management, and system upgrades.

Support SAP Solution Manager for monitoring, CHARM, EWA reports, and system documentation.

Collaborate with functional teams for issue resolution.

Assist in maintaining SAP backups and disaster recovery procedures.

Troubleshoot technical issues and provide root cause analysis.

Must-Have Requirements:

✅ 1–2 years of hands-on SAP BASIS administration experience.

✅ Experience with SAP S/4HANA On-Premise systems.

✅ Working knowledge of SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) – including system monitoring and CHARM.

✅ Hands-on experience in Fiori activation and configuration.

✅ Understanding of SAP landscape architecture and components.

✅ Familiarity with SAP transports, patching, and upgrades.

✅ Basic knowledge of SAP HANA Database administration.

✅ Ability to work in rotational shifts or on-call support if needed.

Preferred Skills:

⭐ Exposure to SAP systems on different OS/DB platforms.

⭐ Familiarity with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) setups.

⭐ Knowledge of SAP Router and network/security concepts.

⭐ Understanding of SAP Cloud Connector and hybrid landscapes.

⭐ Ability to write technical documentation and operational procedures.
