SAP Basis Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP System Monitoring & Supervision:

  Monitor and supervise complex SAP system landscapes, including ERP, SCM (APO), and SCM (EWM). Ensure optimal performance, stability, and availability of SAP systems and their interfaces.

• Error Analysis & Troubleshooting:

  Perform thorough error analysis and troubleshooting for technical issues in the SAP Basis environment. Identify root causes and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure smooth system operations.

• Patch Management & System Upgrades:

  Apply patches, system updates, and upgrades to SAP systems. Ensure compliance with SAP maintenance schedules and best practices to maintain system integrity and performance.

• FIORI Administration:

  Manage and administer SAP FIORI, including the configuration of tiles, catalogs, and roles. Ensure seamless integration of FIORI apps with SAP systems and monitor FIORI performance.

• Security Measures Implementation:

  Implement and maintain security measures for the SAP system landscape. Ensure compliance with security standards, manage user access, and perform regular audits to protect sensitive data.

• Collaboration with SAP Application Support:

  Work closely with SAP application support teams to ensure efficient handling of issues and requests. Provide technical expertise to support functional teams in optimizing SAP applications.

• Service Provider Management:

  Manage and monitor external service providers to ensure they meet performance standards and service level agreements (SLAs). Coordinate with service providers for technical support and system maintenance.

• Global Team Collaboration:

  Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistent SAP Basis operations across multiple regions. Participate in global projects and contribute to the development of best practices for SAP system management.
