Job Title: SAP ABAP Developer (Non-HR Modules) Experience Required: 3–5 Years Location: Mumbai Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Only Job Overview We are looking for a skilled and dedicated SAP ABAP Developer (Non-HR) to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will bring 3–5 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development across various SAP modules (excluding HR). You will collaborate with both functional and technical teams to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and efficient ABAP solutions aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities Develop custom SAP ABAP solutions including reports, module pool programming BDC, and interactive forms. Implement Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts for better code structure and reusability. Design and develop Function Modules, BAPI, RFC, and Web Services to support system integration. Create and maintain Smart Forms and Adobe Forms for business document generation. Customize SAP standard behavior using BADI, User Exits, and Enhancement Frameworks. Develop web-based applications using ABAP Web Dynpro. Work extensively with ABAP Dictionary objects like tables, views, data elements, and domains. Analyze functional and technical specifications and translate them into high-quality ABAP code. Perform debugging, performance tuning, and bug fixing. Prepare comprehensive technical documentation in line with BPCL’s standards. Contribute to the successful delivery of medium to large-scale SAP projects. Mandatory Skills Strong ABAP development experience (minimum 3 years) across non-HR SAP modules. Expertise In Report and Module Pool Programming BDC Programming Smart Forms & Adobe Forms Interactive Reports and OOP Concepts Function Modules, BAPI, RFC, and Web Services ABAP Web Dynpro BADI and User Exits ABAP Dictionary (tables, views, domains, etc.) Excellent debugging and performance optimization skills. Strong understanding of translating functional/technical specs into scalable ABAP code. Ability to prepare well-structured technical documentation. Desirable Skills Exposure to SAP HANA and ABAP on HANA. Familiarity with SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 development. Knowledge of SAP integration technologies such as IDocs, RFC, and BAPI. Understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline. 3–5 years of relevant ABAP experience in non-HR SAP modules.
