Sap Abap Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Developer with strong experience in SAP S/4HANA and SAP RISE environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in object-oriented ABAP, SAP HANA, CDS Views, and SAP Gateway development, with a proven track record in delivering scalable and performance-optimized solutions.

Skill / Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP experience with a strong focus on object-oriented programming.
• Proven expertise in:
• Core ABAP development (OOPs, BADIs, BAPIs, WRICEF, Enhancements)
• CDS Views (Creation, consumption, associations, joins)
• SAP Gateway and OData development
• Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA, including HANA-optimized ABAP and cloud extensibility.
• Hands-on experience with SAP RISE deployments (public and private cloud).
• Experience working with SAP HANA and SADL in OData-based projects.
• Solid understanding of SAP Workflows (preferred).
• Proficiency in WebDynpro ABAP (nice to have).
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of ABAP performance tuning techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables independently.

Job Responsibilities

• Custom Development: Design, develop, and implement custom ABAP solutions in SAP S/4HANA using modern OOP practices and optimized HANA techniques.
• CDS & OData Integration: Create and consume CDS Views with complex associations and integrate them with OData services using SADL and SAP Gateway.
• RISE with SAP: Develop scalable ABAP applications optimized for deployment in SAP RISE environments, ensuring alignment with cloud readiness and modern ERP architecture.
• Performance Optimization: Apply advanced debugging and performance tuning techniques to ensure high-performing code and efficient resource usage.
• Technical Documentation: Translate business and functional requirements into detailed technical specifications and documentation.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants, BASIS, and testing teams in Agile/DevOps settings to ensure smooth solution delivery.
• Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and participate in enhancement and change management processes.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
