Role Overview

Sampling & Production Merchandiser


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end sampling of handbags and accessories
  • Source materials, hardware, trims (local & global) and negotiate MOQs
  • Coordinate with vendors, tailors, patternmakers, and designers
  • Maintain BOMs, costing sheets, and tech documentation
  • Oversee quality control and transition to production


Ideal Candidate

  • 5–8 years in

    luxury bag/accessory sampling or production

  • Strong network of material and hardware vendors (India/international)
  • Proficient in Excel, costing, production tracking
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and quality-focused
