Job Description

Key Responsibilities: (Only from footwear industry) Sample Development & Coordination: Managing the entire sample development process, including initial concept, design, prototyping, and final approval. Budget Management: Monitoring and managing sample production budgets to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards. Sample Order Management & Tracking: Overseeing the ordering and tracking of samples, ensuring timely delivery and addressing any issues. Quality Control: Evaluating and approving samples, ensuring they meet established quality standards and specifications. Technical Expertise: Providing technical input on materials, construction, and manufacturing processes, and offering solutions for any issues. Communication & Collaboration: Communicating with internal teams (design, merchandising, production) and external vendors, including overseas clients, to facilitate sample development. Sourcing & Procurement: Sourcing materials, components, and suppliers based on design requirements, cost, and production capabilities. Trend Awareness: Staying updated on footwear trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques to ensure designs are innovative and commercially viable. "Go to Market" Accountability: Tracking the adoption rate of samples, ensuring timely delivery of proto/shoot/catalogue/PP samples to meet required targets. Team Management: Developing, managing, and coaching a team of vendors, ensuring they meet current and future business needs. Candidate can direct co-ordinate on working days from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM _ 7318012221
