Job Description

Title: Salesforce [Trainer + Developer]

Role Summary

Training & Coaching Requirements

Proven experience delivering
developer-focused training
(virtual only)
Ability to explain complex technical concepts ex: flows, in a clear, structured manner
Experience creating:
Training materials (slides, labs, exercises)Sample code and best-practice examples

Hands-on coaching and mentoring of junior and mid-level developers
Ability to assess skill levels and tailor training accordingly

Core Technical Requirements

Salesforce development

Apex (classes, triggers, asynchronous processing)
Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura
SOQL and SOSL; Salesforce Object Model and data relationships
Flows, Process Automation
Validation Rules
Security model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules)
REST and SOAP APIs
Must be familiar with
DevOps and deployment tools:
Salesforce DX; Git-based version control; CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of
Salesforce architecture and governor limits
Ability to teach
secure, scalable, and performant design patterns
Knowledge of Salesforce best practices for: Error handling, Bulkification, Testing strategies (unit tests, test data factories)
Strong communication and presentation skills
Collaborative mindset and stakeholder engagement experience
Patience and enthusiasm for teaching
Ability to adapt content to different learning styles
Salesforce certifications (e.g.,
Platform Developer I/II
,
JavaScript Developer I
)
Prior experience as a technical trainer, coach, or lead developer
