Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect

Techila Global Services is a leading IT services and consulting company delivering innovative Salesforce solutions across industries. Were expanding our Salesforce consulting capabilities and looking for a Salesforce Architect / Team Lead (Marketing Cloud )who is not just a technical expert but also a strategic advisor. In this role, you will lead a high-performing team while being the go-to consultant for our clients. Youll work closely with stakeholders to shape business outcomes, proactively drive conversations, and ensure seamless delivery across Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone whos equally comfortable in client meetings as they are reviewing code or marketing journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement & Consultation:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients across projects.
• Lead discovery sessions, gather business requirements, and challenge assumptions to recommend better solutions.
• Translate business needs into actionable Salesforce solutions and workstreams.
• Provide strategic guidance around Salesforce platform best practices and roadmap planning.
  

Team Leadership:

• Lead a cross-functional Salesforce team (admins, developers, marketers, analysts).
• Assign and manage tasks, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
• Review outputs, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to architecture principles.
• Mentor and upskill junior team members.
  

Solution Architecture & Delivery:

• Architect scalable and maintainable Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions.
• Guide the technical design and configuration of campaigns, automations, journeys, custom objects, integrations, and flows.
• Roll up your sleeves when needed to troubleshoot, configure, or support delivery execution.
  

Project Management & Communication:

• Maintain clear, proactive communication with internal and client stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates on project status, risks, dependencies, and next steps.
• Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible across teams.
  

What We’re Looking For:

• 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience with at least 3+ years in a lead/architect role.
  
• Deep expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, AMPscript, APIs).
  
• Strong consulting mindset – ability to understand business problems, propose solutions, and push back when needed.
  
• Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
  
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile environments.
  
• Salesforce certifications (especially Marketing Cloud Consultant and Application Architect) are a plus.
