Job Description

The Senior Manager, Enterprise Application (Salesforce) will be responsible for overseeing the Salesforce Development and QA team, ensuring the successful implementation and optimization of Salesforce solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and deep expertise in Salesforce technologies. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, enhance system capabilities, and support business objectives through effective Salesforce management. In addition to core platform oversight, the ideal candidate will champion an AI-first vision, leveraging Salesforce AI and Agentic AI capabilities to drive intelligent automation, enhance user productivity, and enable predictive, proactive business workflows Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Salesforce development team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment that embraces AI-led experimentation and adoption of autonomous agentic systems. Lead Salesforce technical implementations across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, and Communities , integrating AI-based capabilities (e.g., opportunity scoring, case summarization, and forecast intelligence) to align with evolving business priorities. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for all Salesforce-related activities, including project delivery, team collaboration, and status tracking. Collaborate with Salesforce Business System Analyst / Solution Architects to translate business requirements into actionable technical tasks, ensuring clear communication and a shared understanding of project goals. Integrate Salesforce with Alteras broader ecosystem using Dell Bhoomi, APIs, and event-driven architectures to enable real-time data flow and automation. Operate in a fast-paced, agile environment and work across multiple time zones with global teams and stakeholders. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or blockers, and work with teams to resolve issues promptly. Stay current with Salesforce roadmap, releases, and emerging trends to continuously enhance platform capabilities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for automation, process improvement, and optimization within Salesforce and related platforms. QualificationsQualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in Salesforce development. 7+ Years of people management demonstrating ability to lead larger teams to deliver results in fast-paced environments. Extensive hands-on experience in Salesforce implementations, specifically with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities, and CPQ / Revenue Cloud Hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning, Apex, LWC, Flows and other Salesforce technologies. Proficiency in DevOps practices, including deployment automation, version control, and integration using DevOps tools. Salesforce Certified Application Architect or Salesforce Certified Technical Architect is must. Strong experience in managing Salesforce projects using Agile methodologies. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proven track record of implementing innovative technology solutions that drive business value. M&A knowledge is a plus.
