Role & responsibilities

SAP PP/QM functional consultant with 2 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA requires hands-on experience in both modules, with a focus on configuration, implementation, and support in an S/4HANA environment. Key responsibilities include managing master data (BOMs, routings, inspection plans), executing production and quality processes (orders, inspections, notifications), and ensuring integration with other modules like MM and SD.

The role also involves preparing functional specifications, performing testing (unit, integration, UAT), and coordinating with technical teams.

• Implementation and Support:

  Participate in or support full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations and provide post-go-live support and troubleshooting.

• Master Data:

  Configure and manage master data such as Bill of Materials (BOMs), Work Centres, Routings, Production Versions, Inspection Plans, and Inspection Specs.

• Production Planning (PP):

• Configure and manage processes for Discrete, Repetitive, or Process manufacturing.
• Handle Material Requirements Planning (MRP), capacity planning, and production orders (creation, confirmation, goods issue/receipt).

• Quality Management (QM):

• Configure and manage QM processes like inspection lots, results recording, quality notifications, and usage decisions.
• Conduct quality inspections during procurement, in-process, and in sales.

• Integration:

  Ensure seamless integration of PP and QM with other SAP modules, particularly MM, SD, and FI/CO.

• Documentation and Testing:

  Create functional specifications, test cases, and conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Collaboration:

  Work with cross-functional teams and coordinate with the ABAP team for custom developments (RICEFW objects).

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: B.Tech/BE in Mechanical/IT

• Location: Preference will be given to candidates residing in Tricity
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in

  SAP PP and QM.

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, including configuration and implementation.
• Experience in at least one full-cycle implementation is often preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and quality management business processes.
• Experience in preparing functional specifications and writing test scripts.
