As an SAP PP Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation, customization, and maintenance of SAP PP modules to align with the business requirements. You will collaborate closely with both functional and technical teams to understand and analyze business needs, translating them into detailed functional specifications. Your responsibilities will include configuring and customizing the system to ensure it aligns with business processes and SAP best practices. You will be actively involved in testing and validating SAP PP processes during various stages such as implementation, upgrades, and enhancements. Additionally, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to the SAP PP module that may arise. You should have a minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in SAP, specifically with at least one end-to-end implementation or a successful PP/QM roll-out for SAP S/4 Hana Cloud ERP. Your responsibilities will include working on SAP PP/QM related business process configuration, data migration, and integration with other logistics modules. It is essential that you have a solid understanding of master data related to PP and QM, such as Master Inspection Characteristics, Inspection Methods, Sampling Procedure, and Quality Information Record, among others. Your experience should also cover the implementation of various SAP PP business processes like Make to Stock, Make to Order, Repetitive, Production Sub-contracting, Sales & Operation Planning, Long Term Planning, and Material Planning processes. Familiarity with Shop floor management, Production order management, and quality notifications is required. Additionally, experience in either discrete manufacturing or process manufacturing is essential for this role. Ideally, you should hold a preferred SAP certification in any module related to SAP PP/QM/PM/MM/SD. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent field is required for this position.
