Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for

    Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick)

    design, development, and support.
  • Develop and maintain custom

    Apex classes

    ,

    triggers

    ,

    LWC

    ,

    Visualforce pages

    , and

    flows

    .
  • Implement and troubleshoot Salesforce CPQ configurations

    product bundles

    ,

    pricing rules

    ,

    discount schedules

    ,

    quote templates

    , etc.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to

    gather requirements

    and convert them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Lead and conduct

    workshops, design sessions

    , and

    technical documentation

    .
  • Manage and support

    CPQ integrations

    with external systems (billing, ERP, pricing engines, etc.).
  • Maintain

    data integrity

    and support

    data migrations

    , including use of Data Loader and SOQL tools.
  • Utilize

    Agile/Scrum

    and

    JIRA

    tools for task management and sprint planning.
  • Monitor and address production issues promptly during

    EST working hours

    .

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years

    of hands-on experience in Salesforce platform development.
  • 3+ years

    of direct experience with

    Salesforce CPQ

    (configuration, development, and support).
  • Proficiency in

    Apex, SOQL, SOSL, LWC

    , and

    Flow Builder

    .
  • In-depth understanding of

    Salesforce data model

    ,

    CPQ object model

    , and

    governor limits

    .
  • Knowledge of

    integration patterns

    and tools (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of

    Salesforce security model

    , sharing rules, and permission sets.
  • Ability to

    work independently

    and handle escalations and production support.
  • Excellent

    verbal and written communication skills

    .
  • Experience with

    JIRA

    and

    Service Management systems

    .

Preferred candidate profile

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator

    (must).
  • Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification

    (preferred).
  • Knowledge of

    Salesforce Billing

    or

    Revenue Cloud

    is a plus.
  • Experience working in

    global support environments

    with

    night shift

    or

    EST timezone

    .
