Salesforce Communications Cloud Technical Consultant (CPQ)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and implement solutions on Salesforce Communications Cloud, focusing on CPQ, Order Management, and Enterprise Product Catalog (EPC).
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Develop and customize Apex classes, Lightning components (LWC), and integration flows.
• Configure and extend Vlocity DataRaptors, Omniscripts, Integration Procedures, and Cards Framework.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and usability.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Middleware, or ETL tools.
• Lead the technical design process and perform code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Support deployment, testing, and post-go-live activities in Agile delivery environments.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of total experience with at least 5+ years in Salesforce platform development.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Salesforce Communications Cloud (formerly Vlocity).
• Proven experience in Salesforce CPQ and Order Management implementations.
• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning (LWC), SOQL, and REST API integrations.
• Experience working with Omniscripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, EPC, and Vlocity Cards.
• Good understanding of telecom or subscription-based business models.
• Strong experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps (Git, CI/CD pipelines).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and client-interfacing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II or Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification.
• Vlocity (OmniStudio Developer / CPQ Developer) certification highly preferred.
• Experience working with Salesforce Industries Cloud (Telco/Media) projects.
