Sales Trainer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver onboarding programs for new sales hires.
• Conduct ongoing training sessions on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to identify skills gaps and develop targeted learning solutions.
• Develop training materials including manuals, presentations, and e-learning content.
• Use role-playing, simulations, and other interactive methods to enhance learning.
• Track and measure the effectiveness of training programs using performance metrics and feedback.
• Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments to keep training relevant.
• Support sales enablement efforts by developing sales playbooks, pitch decks, and objection-handling tools.
• Provide one-on-one coaching and performance feedback to sales reps as needed.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in sales training, sales enablement, or a related sales role.
• Strong background in B2B or B2C sales with a solid understanding of the sales process.
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, both in-person and virtual.
• Ability to motivate and engage adult learners with diverse skill levels.
• Proficient in using LMS platforms, CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), and training software (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams, or Articulate).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience creating and executing structured training programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Education, or a related field preferred.
