Sales Trainer

Role & responsibilities

The goal of the sales trainer is to increase the overall performance of the sales team by giving sales trainees the right tools, skills, and knowledge they need to be successful. The Sales Trainers responsibilities include conducting skills gap analysis, preparing learning materials and evaluating results after each training session.

For this role, you will work closely with our salespeople to identify challenges they face on the job and recommend ways to increase productivity and maximize the effectiveness of a companys sales training program.

Preferred candidate profile

• Design and deliver sales training programs for new hires and existing sales staff in the home loan domain.
• Prepares new sales representatives by conducting process and product training, skills and communication training and personality development.
• Deliver digital training on tools, applications, and platforms used within the home loan process (CRM, LMS, mobile apps, etc.)
• Conducts exercise sessions/ refresher training sessions for new and current sales employees.
• Facilitate structured On-the-Job Training (OJT) programs to ensure smooth transition from training to production.
• Observes sales encounters and collects feedback, results, and performance data of trainees after sessions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications. Stay updated on industry trends, RBI regulations, and market practices related to home loans.
• Maintain accurate records of training attendance, progress, and outcomes.
• Identify training needs by observing job performance and conducting TNI (Training Needs Identification).
• Coordinate and Collaborate with Sales Heads/HR and Managers to ensure alignment between training content and business goals.
