Job Description

Position: Sales Support Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist with 5 + Experience to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing crucial administrative support to the sales department, managing customer inquiries, and collaborating with various teams to ensure efficient sales processes.

The Sales Support Specialist will play an integral role in maintaining customer satisfaction and contributing to the overall success of the sales team. In addition, the Sales Support Executive will oversee the daily activities of the sales team, ensuring that all administrative and operational tasks are completed both efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of the sales cycle, sales agreements, and be adept at tracking the status of sales activities, including sold services and products.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the sales support department , providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to streamline sales support operations.
  • Draft, review, and manage sales agreements and contracts.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to understand their needs and provide necessary support.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and project timelines
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Understand and manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Track the status of sales activities, ensuring timely follow-up and closure.
  • Assist in the recruitment of new sales support staff and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Quotation Support:

Sales Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key sales metrics, providing insights into sales trends and the effectiveness of current strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' supervisory experience with a similar experience in Engineering services / CAD software sales.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in sales support or a related area.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales support tools.
  • Experience with Hubspot and workflow management.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies and implementation.
  • In-depth understanding of the sales cycle and sales agreements.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing excellence.

Additional information:

  • Must have excellent skills in:
  • creating PowerPoint presentations
  • Excel spreadsheets [for Business Case Analysis, Pricing analysis, etc.]
  • Must have experience dealing with clients in the US
  • 5 - 10 years total experience
  • Must be capable of listening in on client calls and sending follow-up emails/meeting notes
