Role Overview: You will be leading a team of B2B sales professionals at Global Sources, a leading B2B platform dedicated to fostering genuine trade and offering customized sourcing solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to mentor and inspire your team to meet and exceed sales goals while maintaining strong client relationships and exploring new growth opportunities. You will also be responsible for overseeing data management, product updates, prospect identification, operational coordination, sales pipeline management, market research, collaboration with other departments, customer feedback analysis, and partnership development. Key Responsibilities: - Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of B2B sales professionals to meet and exceed team goals. - Data Management: Oversee the development and strategic expansion of the database within assigned verticals. - Client Relationships: Guide the team in building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts. - Product Updates: Keep clients informed about Global Sources' latest product offerings. - Prospect Identification: Proactively identify, evaluate, and approach new prospects within the assigned database. - Operational Coordination: Collaborate with Sales Administrators and the PSC team for smooth coordination. - Sales Pipeline Management: Ensure accurate tracking of sales activities and team performance in CRM systems. - Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. - Collaboration: Drive cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, and other departments. - Customer Feedback: Implement processes to collect and analyze customer feedback for refining sales approach. - Partnerships: Develop and maintain relationships with Indian councils, associations, and key stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - Experience: 10+ years overall, with a minimum of 3 years in team management. - Stability: Proven stability in previous roles. - Preferred Background: B2B Sales, Media Sales, Exhibitions, or Event Sales. - Skills: - Demonstrates exceptional leadership and team management skills. - Excels in communication, negotiation, and delivering impactful presentations. - Highly proficient in utilizing CRM tools and sales tracking systems. - Network Building: Ability to establish partnerships with industry councils and associations.
